NSF/ANSI

These two US organizations set and regulate national and international safety standards:

  • NSF/ANSI 55 Class A: This is the standard for ultraviolet microbiological water treatment systems. Alva Firewall systems are certified as a Class A system (40,000 uwsec/cm2) designed to disinfect and/or remove microorganisms from contaminated water, including bacteria and viruses, to a safe level.
  • NSF P231: USEPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) Standard for Microbiological Water Purifiers.

IAMPO R&T

Alva products have the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials’ (IAMPO) platinum seal of approval. IAPMO R&T is recognized globally for technical excellence in certifying water, mechanical, electrical, and food equipment that meet the highest standards of public health, safety, and environmental quality.

WRAS

Alva products have got the approval of the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) in the UK. WRAS tests for water quality and makes sure water dispenser materials and components meet rigorous safety requirements. WRAS aims to prevent waste, undue consumption, misuse, erroneous measurement, or contamination of water by developing and enforcing national and international standards.

ETL/CE Safety Standards

Alva Products meet the stringent safety and environmental standards of North American and European regulators:

ETL certified: North American certificate of conformity of facilities.

CE certified: European marking that is a manufacturer’s declaration that the product complies with European Union health, safety, and environmental protection legislation.
